Columbus, OH Join the Friends of Stone Laboratory and the Ohio Sea Grant College Program at their 8th Annual Open House and Silent Auction 7 – 9 p.m. on Wednesday, February 22, 2006 at Ohio State University’s Fawcett Center. The feature presentations "Images of Lake Erie and Stone Laboratory from Our Photography Workshop" by Ian Adams, Ohio’s Bicentennial Photographer, and "Research Experience for Undergraduates at Stone Laboratory" by Joe Conroy of Ohio State University and Kristin Stanford of Stone Laboratory.
Other speakers include Ohio Representative Robert Latta; Dr. Doug Kane, FOSL President; and Dr. Jeffrey Reutter; Director of Ohio Sea Grant and Stone Laboratory.

In addition, a silent auction will be held beginning at 7 p.m. to benefit the Friends of Stone Laboratory, a non-profit group that supports Stone Lab programs and scholarships. Auction items include certificates for fine dinning, vacation getaways, along with unique times such as framed signed prints and vintage lab equipment.
