Benefits & Accomplishments

Estimates of the economic impact of recreational boating have been made and provided to the Division of Watercraft, Ohio Department of Natural Resources. In addition, county-level tabulations have been made of boater characteristics and expenditures. These estimated economic impacts are being used by the Division of Watercraft and the Boating Associations of Ohio to inform state and county government about the size of recreational boating in Ohio and to support further development of recreational boating in Ohio.
