Economic Impact
Recreation industries, coastal development, business retention, brownfield redevelopment, etc: regional economies depend on the resources of the Great Lakes, and Ohio Sea Grant's programs facilitate an understanding of this dependence. Our work with charter captains, coastal developers, decision makers, steelhead anglers, and others have helped to quantify the value of our coastal resources to the state of Ohio.
