Education
Ohio Sea Grant's Education Program is considered a leader in the nation in the area of teacher education, curriculum development, and materials that focus on the Great Lakes region. Our teaching facility on Lake Erie, F.T. Stone Laboratory, offers formal courses to students and teachers alike each summer; our workshop program engages over 5,000 on-site participants each year. We have a leading role in the development of a new Great Lakes regional Center of Ocean Sciences Education Excellence.
