2nd Year: A One-week Stone Lab Course
As sophomores, the Metro School students will take one of three one-week introductory courses at Stone Lab. Aquatic Biology will be taught by Ohio Sea Grant Extension and Ohio State University Associate Professor Fred Snyder. Insect Biology will be taught by Professor Dave Horn from Ohio State’s Entomology Department. Professor Larry Krissek of Ohio State’s Earth Sciences Department will teach Introductory to Oceanography.
As the Metro School’s first OSU college-credit courses, these courses will involve not only classroom and lab sessions, but also hands-on field work on the Lake Erie Islands and Stone Lab research vessels.
