Special Note

Actual total cost of workshop with room and meals is $450. However, a $100 scholarship from the Center for Great Lakes Literacy (CGLL) is applied for a total cost of $350 for each participant.

Prerequisites

In-service or pre-service teacher, non-formal educator, college education major or permission of instructor. At least 18 years of age.

Description

Enhancing Earth Science Education with Educational Technology (EESEET) is a field-based opportunity in the geologic setting of Kellys Island to learn the capabilities of the Nearpod application combined with Ohio Earth Science standards.

Location

This course will be based out of the Kelleys Island Field Station. Housing and travel logistics may differ than Gibraltar-based courses; instructors will inform students of housing details.
