Prerequisites

In-service teacher, non-formal educator, or education major with junior rank or above by summer of enrollment or permission of instructor. Not open to students with credit for EarthSci 583.03 or GeolSci 583.03. May not be used to satisfy BS, MS, or PhD degree requirements in EarthSc.

Description

Examination of geologic features along the southern shore of Lake Erie during a week-long van trip, including an interpretation of the geologic history of Ohio in the Lake Erie basin, and an examination of relationships between human activity and the geology of the area.

Class will originate from Columbus, Ohio. In addition to tuition, cost for room, meals, and transportation during one-week long van trip will be approximately $600.
