ENR 2100 and 2300 or instructor permission.

Description

This course covers topics such as the constitutional foundations of environmental policy, the role of congress and the executive branch in designing policy and bureaucratic agencies in implementing them, and the courts system as the final arbiter for environmental disputes. It also covers some of the foundational legislation in the U.S. to protect the environment and natural resources.

This is a four-week undergraduate level course, taught in-person at Gibraltar Island. Four- and six-week courses meet 3 days a week, you may take 2 courses simultaneously, but they must occur on different days.

All courses are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Applicants are encouraged to apply as soon as possible to ensure a spot. Ohio State’s summer semester has multiple sessions, and deadlines vary by session. This course is part of the 8 week Session 2; all deadlines for 8 week Session 2 on the Registrar’s website apply.
