Ohio Sea Grant and Stone Laboratory will host a public webinar to explain NOAA’s 2015 Seasonal Forecast of Harmful Algal Blooms for Lake Erie. The event will feature expert commentary, a discussion of the history of this issue on Lake Erie, and the U.S. response to the problem.
The US Co-Chairs of Annex 4 of the Great Lakes Water Quality Agreement (GLWQA) will explain recommendations to address excessive nutrient loading, and Lake Erie Scientists will present projects supported by the Ohio Board of Regents and The Ohio State University Field to Faucet Initiative.
