New volunteers are welcome!
Bring your work gloves and help spruce up Stone Lab for the upcoming season at the annual Friends of Stone Lab (FOSL) Spring Work Weekend April 11-13, 2025. Participants are invited to arrive Friday night and stay until Sunday morning or simply come for the day on Saturday. There’s plenty of cleaning, organizing, carrying, painting, moving and digging to do!
Plan to take the 5:30, 6:30 or 7:30 p.m. ferry from the mainland ($18 per adult round-trip). Please visit the Miller Ferry website for possible cancellations before leaving home.

Please RSVP below to help us with event planning and details. Registration is not final until you receive confirmation from a staff member. Registration is required even if you arrange accommodations and meals elsewhere. In an effort to create opportunities for new volunteers, we are limiting registrations to two per family.
Gear to Bring
April weather on Gibraltar is unpredictable and often cold, so check the weather forecast and dress accordingly in clothes that can get dirty. If it rains, we’ll still be working, which makes rain gear a must. Meals will be provided, Please bring toiletries. Rooms may not be heated. Housing is dormitory-style, including bunk beds.
