In this week’s presentation, Dr. Steve McMurray of the Old Woman Creek National Estuarine Research Reserve (NERR) will discuss the reserve’s water quality monitoring programs and how they inform research. Since 2021, McMurray has served as Research Coordinator at the Old Woman Creek NERR to inform management of Lake Erie coastal ecosystems. A native of northeast Ohio, he earned a B.A. in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Hiram College, and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Marine Biology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
