Each Thursday in June and July, Stone Lab and Ohio Sea Grant will host guest speakers during its summer college course season.
Audience members, including those joining online, will be able to ask the speaker questions at the end of the presentation. Presentations will be recorded and made available for free on the Ohio Sea Grant website.
From tracking snakes and eagles to securing hunting and fishing permits and managing vital habitats and infrastructure, Anthony Mosinski sits at the intersection of technology and the great outdoors. As a Software Developer II for the Ohio Division of Wildlife, Anthony leverages over a decade of geospatial expertise to help manage the state’s critical wildlife GIS data and technology. An alumnus of The Ohio State University and The University of Southern California, his career is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of GIS in conservation. In his presentation, Anthony will share how modern GIS tools are shaping the future of Ohio’s wild side for current and future generations.
