Each Thursday in June and July, Stone Lab and Ohio Sea Grant will host guest speakers during its summer college course season.

Audience members, including those joining online, will be able to ask the speaker questions at the end of the presentation. Presentations will be recorded and made available for free on the Ohio Sea Grant website.

In this week’s presentation, Robbie M. Martin of the University of Tennessee will discuss ongoing research on how nitrogen availability affects toxin phenotypes in Microcystis aeruginosa. Dr. Martin is an Assistant Research Professor in Steven Wilhelm’s Lab at the University of Tennessee. He studies the ecology and physiology of harmful algal blooms in freshwater systems.
